Information only

Content on this site is general information to help you understand your equipment. It is not a substitute for the manufacturer's installation and programming manuals, which are the authoritative source for wiring, programming, and specifications. Firmware, regional variants, and dealer configuration can change how a specific system behaves.

Life-safety systems

Fire alarm, carbon monoxide, and commercial systems are often subject to local codes, permits, and inspection requirements, and may need to be serviced by a licensed technician. Do not disable, bypass, or reprogram life-safety devices unless you are qualified to do so. Contact your monitoring company before testing a monitored system to avoid a false dispatch.

No warranty

We work to keep information accurate, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, current, or correct for your installation, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use. If you find an error, please let us know.
