Change the master code
Same as above, using user number 4 0: * 5, current master code, 4 0, new code, #. Test it before you forget the old one.
Delete a user code
- * 5 and the master code.
- Enter the user number to delete.
- Press * as the code. That erases it.
- Press # to exit.
You cannot delete the master code this way, only change it.
PowerSeries Neo is different
Neo panels (HS2016, HS2032, HS2064, HS2128) also use * 5 plus the master code, but the master is user 01, user numbers are entered with more digits, and LCD keypads walk you through menus for each code's options. Follow the prompts, or see the Neo user manual.
Forgot the master code?
The installer code can reset it from installer programming. See DSC installer programming and installer and master codes.
